Election 2008
This term we are shadowing the election in the USA with our own elections. Candidates for positions of APL and PL are contesting these positions using similar techniques to those used in the US, with election addresses, manifestos, campaign managers, and posters.
The electorate includes all scouts and leaders, but also Cub Scouts and Beaver Scouts from 3rd Heswall, as well as Scout Leaders, and Explorer Scouts from around the district.
Candidates have been encouraged to use a wide variety of media to put across their message.
Election day is October 9th
